My birthday gift


A close friend asked me this question.

" What do you want for your birthday this year?"

I said " I want a positive pregnancy test, my beta test happens to be 1 day before my 32nd birthday"

my friend then asked " What if....... ?? "

I said " honestly, at this moment, i dont even want to think about the what ifs, i just want to be completely freely naively recklessly positively optimistic. "

    life is a series of "what ifs"..we worry, we fuss, we fret..is life a plan? a script?..we really don't know..all the "what ifs" are pretty tough questions of our lack of confidence & self-trust in life that beg for our attention..so, for now, to hell (pardon me) with the big "what if"..i'm juz waitin' to pop that bottle of champagne on your behalf for your 32nd b'day & that positive sign on that pee stick..cheers! (*hic)

    I wish your birthday wish will come true. I also have been wishing to have a baby celebrating with me in my birthday wishes for past few years, and thankful that my prayers was answered last year.
    Just knew that we are same age, 32 this year. :)
